Levenhuk Rainbow D2L 0.3M Digital Microscope, Moonstone
Modern microscope for beginning microcosm explorers. Digital camera and experiment kit included. Magnification: 40-400x.

Modern Levenhuk Rainbow D2L 0.3M Digital Microscope, Moonstone is an ideal gift for a school student keen on biology. With this microscope a young researcher will learn how surrounding objects are composed, how plants and animals are structured, who lives in aquarium water and lots of other interesting things! The kit includes a quality digital camera, so sharing your findings with friends is really easy Ð email colorful pictures to your friends or upload interesting videos on YouTube for everyone to see!

High-quality optics
The lenses are made of high-quality optical glass with a high level of transparency so it doesnÕt distort produced images. For even better light transmission, the optics are covered with multiple layers of coating. Three objectives included in the kit allow for a wide range of available magnifications of 40x to 400x. To set the desired magnification, just rotate the revolving nosepiece.

Digital Camera Features
This model comes with an 0.3Mpx digital camera included in the kit. All you need to do to take images and record videos is install the camera in the microscopeÕs eyepiece tube (instead of the eyepiece) and connect it to your PC with USB cable. You will see the magnified image of the observed sample on your PC screen. Intuitive software included in the kit makes taking pictures and recording videos really easy. Produced media files can be saved in a number of popular formats and then sent via email or shared in social networks.

USB cable required for connecting the camera to PC and camera power supply is included in the kit. The list of compatible operating systems includes Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10 (32 and 64 bit).

Observing transparent and opaque samples
The microscope is equipped with double LED illumination. Lower illumination is needed for working with transparent samples Ð with it you can observe pet fur, salt and sugar crystals, thin slices of house plants and many others. Upper illumination is for studying opaque samples. The microscope is also suitable for observing semi-transparent samples (both illuminations need to be turned on). The brightness is adjustable so you can easily change it to achieve the best results when working with particular samples.

Convenient design
The microscope is quite lightweight and sturdy due to its sturdy plastic body. To provide users with comfortable observations, the head inclines at 45¡. The camera is powered by your PC via USB. The microscope itself can be powered either by an outlet or by batteries included in the kit.
